This historic hotel has been a long-time favorite for guests visiting the Fairhope/Point Clear area, but is also popular among locals for it’s scenic beauty, dining options, and weddings. All are welcome to eat and drink at one of the many dining and bar options on-site. We highly recommend making reservations if you plan on dining at Southern Roots, the Grand Hotel’s fine dining option, or the Sunday Brunch in the Grand Hall.
Featured in our most popular blog post, 50 Things to Do in Fairhope, visit in the afternoon to see the daily cannon firing that takes place to celebrate the history of the Grand Hotel and salute our military men and women, veterans, and their families. After the presentation, make your way to the Grand Hall for tea and cookies. We especially enjoy the “friendly ghost” practicing on the player piano.
