Considered by locals as Fairhope’s “town square,” a trip is not complete without a stroll down the Fairhope Municipal Pier. The pier features a marina, restaurant, public restrooms, and benches.  Fishing is allowed, but a saltwater license is required.

Situated just north of the Fairhope Municipal Pier is the Fairhope Beach and Park.  Take a walk along the beach or stroll through the park and enjoy the chorus of ducks and geese that live at the pond.  A small playground is on-site as well as covered areas perfect for an outdoor picnic.

Overlooking the Mobile Bay and Fairhope Municipal Pier, the Henry George Park on the Bluff is one of the best locations to capture one of Fairhope’s striking sunsets.  A popular spot for public events, the Bluff is the host to many weddings, live concerts, and a fireworks show for the fourth of July.

With a large fenced in play space, playground equipment for both smaller and older children, splash pad, music equipment, picnic pavilion, sidewalk, and a public restroom, the Fairhoper’s Community Park is a family favorite for kids of all ages.  Benches and swings are shaded by the canopy of large trees, making it a relaxing break for all. For a family-friendly vacation, this is one of the best attractions in Fairhope, Alabama.

Established in 1979, the Fairhope Tea Plantation is a thriving tea farm that produces both black and green tea, as well as offers small private group tours. The property is filled with a luscious landscape of plants, koi pond, and peacocks, roaming freely through the grounds. The tea farm tour consists of a cup of house tea and discussion on the history and production of tea.
