Melt and More Alabama Artisans Shoppe is an enchanting boutique in downtown Fairhope offering a wide variety of home goods, art, candles, bags, jewelry, gifts, and more. Filled with handcrafted items created by local artisans throughout Alabama, this unique shop is anything but ordinary. When looking for that perfect gift, something new for the home, or the opportunity to support local businesses in the area, there is something for everyone at Melt and More.

This creative collaboration is like an open book, where each item has a story to tell. Ask owner Ronna Sanford and you will be amazed at the captivating tales from these family-owned businesses and local artists that create truly one-of-a-kind goods.

Cobb Collective

  • Cobb Collective by Mallory Cobb of Tuscaloosa, Alabama is the company behind the ever popular and exquisite blessing beads. These chunky beads are available in a soft palette of grays, white, or seafoam with a hand-molded golden clay cross attached to it. The distinctive lightly distressed features and touch of gold leaf brings an understated, yet elegant flair to your home decor display.

Delta Dawn Decor

  • Delta Dawn Decor is ready to spruce up your space with indoor and outdoor painted wooden signs, tableware, and decor items. Created by Dawn Hacker from Mobile, Alabama, pieces range from southern casual to witty and fun. Coastal and farmhouse favorites, holiday classics and team spirit designs are also available. 

Dian McCray

  • Dian McCray is an artist out of Calera, Alabama known for her spectacular portraits and unique oil paintings of objects and places. An art teacher by trade, Dian now spends her time capturing the beauty of everyday items and bringing them to life in her dazzling designs. Along with her collection of paintings, Dian has also illustrated and published two children’s books.

Fish River Pottery

  • Fish River Pottery is the brand behind the beautiful hand-thrown, handcrafted functional stoneware pieces created by Jim Smith of Summerdale, Alabama. These vases, pitchers, mugs, bowls and decorative pieces come in a variety of natural colors with an attractive glaze. While the larger items make for a grand statement piece in a home or for a wedding gift, a set of mugs would be a lovely and thoughtful housewarming present.

Growley Leather

  • Growley Leather is a family-owned business from Fairhope, Alabama that creates high quality leather goods including bags, wristlets, wallets, belts, journals, valet trays, folios, coasters, key keepers, and more. These attractive items are all cut and sewn by owners Kelli and Brian Rowley along with their four daughters. Love by JM Wood Flower Designs

  • Love by JM is the brand behind the exquisite painted wood flowers at Melt and More in Fairhope. Doing all the work as a quadruple amputee, Jacqueline McMillan of Mobile, Alabama considers herself a “hands-free” artisan. Jacqueline paints and arranges the wood flowers to create realistic-looking floral arrangements that have been used in both weddings and as home decor.

Melt Soy Candle Co.

  • Melt Soy Candle Co. of Alabaster, Alabama is the “melt” in the Melt and More store. These small batch candles come in 10 different fragrant scents including Baja Cactus, Cotton, Linen, Cashmere, Midnight Blue Citrus, Pink Mimosa, Volcano, Strawberry Fields, Tonic and Oud, and White Tea and Ginger. Hand poured in rustic style pots and dough bowls, these candles would complement many home styles, including farmhouse, coastal, or French country.

Rebecca Moore

  • Rebecca Moore from Winfield, Alabama is the artist behind the soft and eye-catching watercolor and acrylic paintings at Melt and More. These tabletop sized pictures come in an assortment of styles including fluttering bumblebees, whimsical flowers, and one of our favorites, the iconic Fairhope clock. These lovely paintings will delight and brighten up any space in your home.

Simply Glassy

  • Simply Glassy offers handmade glass art and resin figures with watercolors and acrylic porcelain. Created by Caroline Ridout of Foley, Alabama, these mixed media pieces use a variety of recycled glass, seashells and driftwood to create an original work of art. Many of the pieces have a seaside feel making them an ideal choice for coastal home decor or condos by the beach.

  • The Bisquet Co is a mother and daughter duo out of Bay Minette, Alabama that specializes in handmade pottery and ceramics. Their signature white designs are crafted into small trinket holders, decorative pieces, and ornaments. The popular Grace Collection includes cross designs ranging in size from handheld items to tabletop accessories. Along with adorning your home, these beautiful items would make an exceptional Christening present, baptism gift, or Easter basket addition.

Vicki Boyd

  • Vicki Boyd is a local Fairhope artist who paints a variety of subjects including landscapes, people, pets, and holiday favorites. Her artwork can be found on canvas or wooden boards and comes in a variety of sizes from small tabletop designs to large wall displays. Her distinct colorful style has a sense of realism with a touch of vibrant fun.

Wooden Pottery Designs

  • Wooden Pottery Designs is the brand behind the unique handcrafted wooden bowls and cutting boards at Melt and More in Fairhope. Created by Turner Porter of Eclectic, Alabama, each wood turned item is made from locally sourced or salvaged wood. Being completely food safe, these attractive pieces are both decorative and functional. 







Location and Parking

Melt and More Alabama Artisans Shoppe is located at 314 C De La Mare Avenue in downtown Fairhope, Alabama. Street parking is available on a first come first serve basis. Parking on De La Mare Avenue, Section Street, Fairhope Avenue, or South Church Street would be the shortest walk to Melt and More Alabama Artisans Shoppe.

There is also a public parking lot just north of the Fairhoper’s Community Park on South Church Street, a small parking lot behind Julwin’s Restaurant on Bancroft Street and another parking area just north of the Fairhope Public Library on Bancroft Street.
