Jimmy and Sook is a coastal outfitter in downtown Fairhope, Alabama featuring a variety of shirts, t-shirts, hats, tote bags, and other apparel items. The family store has clothing options for both men and women, as well as children. The popular polo shirt now comes in 16 different colors and can be identified by the store’s emblem, a tri-colored embroidered crab. 

Originally established in Chesapeake Bay, the store name Jimmy and Sook comes from the crab. Jimmy is a male crab and Sook is the female.

Jimmy and Sook is located at 7 South Church Street in downtown Fairhope, Alabama. Street parking is available on a first come first serve basis. Parking on South Church Street, De La Mare Avenue, Fairhope Avenue, North Summit Street, or Saint James Street would be the shortest walk to Jimmy and Sook.

There is also a public parking lot just north of the Fairhoper’s Community Park on South Church Street that is in close proximity to this shop. A public parking garage on North Church Street behind the Hampton Inn, the parking lot behind Julwin’s Restaurant on Bancroft Street, and the parking area just north of the Fairhope Public Library on Bancroft Street are other options in the area.
