A unique gift shop in the heart of downtown Fairhope, In the Company of Angels carries a variety of thoughtful home décor, jewelry, children’s items, greeting cards, and more. With many rooms to explore, the store wraps around from the front entrance on De La Mare into the French Quarter.
As the name suggests, there is an abundance of angel statues, pictures, and trinkets to choose from. However, the selection does not stop there. Each room brings about a new section and variety of themed merchandise from southern to coastal and even Christmas.
Filled with soft stuffed lambs and furry plush bears, the children’s section at In the Company of Angels has many sweet gift ideas for birthdays, baby showers, baby dedications, baptisms, Easter, or Christmas. Sentimental keepsakes celebrating a baby’s birth or milestones are also available.
Designed in-house, In the Company of Angels carries an assortment of watercolor greeting cards, bookmarks, and happy notes. Featuring child-like angels and lambs, the adorable images are created with encouraging and uplifting messages.
In the Company of Angels also has a large selection of home décor items. Inspirational wall art, throw pillows, lamps, crosses, hand-painted Willow Tree figurines, and picture frames are displayed throughout the shop. The Christmas section also includes additional angels, signs, manger scenes, and ornaments.
Along with home décor, there is also an extensive selection of jewelry, Alabama and Fairhope themed souvenirs, and pet gear including collars, leashes, and toys.
In the Company of Angels is located at 328 De La Mare Avenue in downtown Fairhope, Alabama. Street parking is available on a first come first serve basis. Parking on De La Mare Avenue, Section Street, Fairhope Avenue, or South Church Street would be the shortest walk to In the Company of Angels.
There is also a public parking lot just north of the Fairhoper’s Community Park on South Church Street, a public parking garage on North Church Street behind the Hampton Inn, a small parking lot behind Julwin’s Restaurant on Bancroft Street, and another parking area just north of the Fairhope Public Library on Bancroft Street.
