Located in the French Quarter in downtown Fairhope, Biwa Bay is a boutique shop filled with unique jewelry, accessories, scarves, and specialty gift items from Asia. The store is primarily known for their offerings of freshwater (Biwa) pearl jewelry that can be purchased as is or custom made. Stone and pearl necklaces, bracelets, and earrings are readily available in an assortment of styles and include hematite, pearl, amazonite, blue agate, and crystal designs.

Seasonal wraps and colorful scarves are always in stock, along with cover-ups for the spring and summer months.

Biwa Bay is located at 42 1/2 South Section Street in the French Quarter section of downtown Fairhope, Alabama. There are two main entrances to the French Quarter. One entrance is located on De La Mare Avenue and the other entrance is located on South Section Street. A quaint little alleyway takes you into the French Quarter courtyard. The store is located towards the back, past Panini Pete’s restaurant.

Parking on De La Mare Avenue, Section Street, Fairhope Avenue, or South Church Street would be the shortest walk to Biwa Bay. There is also a public parking lot just north of the Fairhoper’s Community Park on South Church Street, a small parking lot behind Julwin’s Restaurant on Bancroft Street and another parking area just north of the Fairhope Public Library on Bancroft Street.
