The Bayside Grill is a casual dining restaurant inside The Grand Hotel Resort and Spa. The restaurant is open to both guests and visitors to The Grand Hotel. With indoor seating and outdoor seating, Bayside Grill is one of the few restaurants in Fairhope on the water, with spectacular views of Mobile Bay.
A family friendly restaurant, kids will enjoy playing one of the many yard games located outside the Bayside Grill while waiting for their meal. These games include horseshoes, ping pong, corn hole, croquet, bocce ball, and a putting green.
Live entertainment takes place every Friday and Saturday evening outside on the patio.
Bayside Grill features a varied menu with locally sourced ingredients including burgers, pizzas, salads, small plates, and specialty entrees.
Popular small plates include the pork belly tacos, caramelized Brussel sprouts, and fried green tomatoes topped with spicy chow chow and grandma’s remoulade. Salads are available as either an appetizer or a main entrée. The salads can be topped with grilled shrimp, grilled chicken, or fried chicken tenders.
Thin crust pizzas are a popular choice for both kids and adults. There are five options to choose from including a traditional pepperoni, margherita, napolitano (meat-lovers), all the cheeses (with six specialty cheeses), and Wagyu brisket debris.
The pastas, handhelds, and entrees are all generously portioned and equally delicious. For a more casual bite, try the GH cheeseburger or honey pecan chicken salad croissant. For a hearty option, try one of the two steaks or the roasted half chicken. Seafood lovers will enjoy the fresh catch of the day, served blackened or the hemp crusted salmon.
The drink menu at the Bayside Grill includes a large selection of draft beer, cider, and wine. Bottled white wine or red wine is also available. For a specialty drink, there are four options on menu. These include the classic martini, margarita, Mobile Bay sunset, or Grand bourbon-ade. With a full bar on site and Bucky’s Lounge next door, guests are welcome to request any specialty cocktail available at The Grand Hotel.
Fairhoper’s Favorite – While we have enjoyed all of the small plates at the Bayside Grill, our trip isn’t complete without the gulf shrimp and brie bake. The shrimp tacos from the handheld menu are another favorite, as well as the margherita pizza.
The Bayside Grill is located inside The Grand Hotel Resort and Spa at 17855 Scenic Highway 98, Fairhope, Alabama 36532 or alternately, One Grand Boulevard, Point Clear, Alabama 36564.
On-site self parking and valet parking are available for resort guests and visitors who are eating at one of the hotel restaurants. There is also a large parking area directly across from The Grand Hotel Resort and Spa when on-property parking is unavailable. Staffed golf carts are available to transport guests and visitors to the Main Historic Building. The entrance guard will be able to assist with any transportation needs from the overflow parking area to the main property.
Once inside the main lobby to The Grand Hotel, head past the fireplace into The Grand Hall. The Bayside Grill hostess station can be found on the left side after the gift shop.
