Café Viola is a restaurant and tea room serving up delicious French-style creole cuisine in downtown Fairhope, Alabama. Open Monday through Saturday, guests can enjoy lunch, dinner, or afternoon tea. Lunch is served from 11:00am – 3:00pm and dinner is served from 5:00pm – 9:00pm. The restaurant features both indoor and outdoor seating. 

Café Viola’s menu consists of soups, salads, entrees, and desserts. Popular menu items include the Creole shrimp and corn chowder, shrimp and grits, crawfish gravy and biscuits, and pan seared snapper. If visiting with children, there is a kids menu with buttered noodles, chicken alfredo, and other standard kids’ fare.

Café Viola is located at 51 South Church Street in downtown Fairhope, Alabama. Street parking is available on a first come first serve basis. Parking on South Church Street, De La Mare Avenue, Fairhope Avenue, North Summit Street, or Saint James Street would be the shortest walk to Café Viola.

There is also a public parking lot just north of the Fairhoper’s Community Park on South Church Street that is in close proximity to this restaurant. A public parking garage on North Church Street behind the Hampton Inn, the parking lot behind Julwin’s Restaurant on Bancroft Street, and the parking area just north of the Fairhope Public Library on Bancroft Street are other options in the area.
