A favorite lunch spot in Fairhope, Bay Breeze Café is a restaurant, bar, and grill offering both indoor and outdoor seating. Previously located on Church Street, the restaurant’s new location is now tucked away just off of Fairhope Avenue. Along with a bigger space and a full bar, the restaurant now offers extended hours on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. 

Guests will find a variety of salads, wraps, and sandwiches on the menu, as well as soup, pizza, and hot dogs. Salads can be purchased in full or half sizes with the option to add grilled chicken or fresh Gulf shrimp. Wraps and sandwiches are served with your choice of a side or can be substituted for a cup or bowl of soup for an additional charge. 

If you are looking for a vegetarian or vegan plate, Bay Breeze Café has many options to choose from. The spinach salad, house salad, or Greek salad are great selections as well as the Portobello and Tuscan wraps. There are also four different “grown-up” grilled cheeses that are sure to please.

Along with the traditional menu, Bay Breeze Café typically offers a daily special as well as a soup of the day. 

Fairhoper’s Favorite – We have tried several of the salads, sandwiches, and wraps and have enjoyed them all, but the one item we insist on having every time we visit is the “almost famous” Roasted Corn and Tomato Bisque with Bleu Cheese Crumbles (optional, but recommended). 

Bay Breeze Café is located at 212 1/2 Fairhope Avenue in downtown Fairhope, Alabama. The restaurant is along Fairhope Avenue, but you must go down a small side street to get there. Follow the large sign out front and it will point you in the right direction.

Street parking is available on a first come first serve basis. Do not attempt to park in the parking area in front of the restaurant. Instead parking on Fairhope Avenue, Church Street, Section Street, Summit Street, or Magnolia Avenue would be an easy walk to the restaurant. A public parking garage is conveniently located on North Church Street behind the Hampton Inn. There is also a public parking lot just north of the Fairhoper’s Community Park on South Church Street.
