Located in the heart of downtown Fairhope, The Colony Shop is a women’s boutique featuring casual attire, unique bags, and an array of accessories. Established in 1946, The Colony Shop is one of the oldest and most established stores in the area.

Upon entering, guests will enjoy the vast selection of ladies attire ideal for daywear, business casual, or an evening out on the town. The Colony Shop includes an eclectic mix of colors, patterns, and styles that will transition through each season.

The Colony Shop is one of the largest clothing shops in Fairhope and it is filled with racks and rows of women’s attire, bags, and accessories. Make a statement with an embroidered blouse, sweater, cardigan, or tunic from the popular Johnny Was collection. Match it with solid or patterned leggings, pants, or skirts from M.Rena, XCVI, or Principle the Dreamer. Finally, complete the outfit with a lively shawl scarf from the Elana Kattan brand. 

The boutique also includes a variety of cozy women’s sleepwear from PJ Harlow. The comfortable nightwear and loungewear sets come in a selection of pretty pastels and neutral hues. Both pants sets and short sets are available in store.

Leather and beaded handbags, purses, and wallets can be found in an array of styles and colors. Exquisite Mary Frances embellished handbags include beaded scenes, animal designs, licensed Disney options and more. Whimsical Chala cross-body purses featuring floral, bird, and animal designs can also be found within The Colony Shop.

The Colony Shop has a large selection of jewelry to accessorize your favorite outfit. A few of the brands featured in store include lovely beaded designs from Teresa Goodall, stone and metal jewelry from Karen Cazel, and vibrant necklaces and earrings from Origin Jewelry. The Colony Shop also carries hats, scarves, and belts to complete your look.  

The Colony Shop is located at 27 South Section Street in downtown Fairhope, Alabama. The store’s main entrance faces Section Street and the cross street, De La Mare Avenue. Street parking is available on a first come first serve basis. Parking on Section Street, De La Mare Avenue, Fairhope Avenue, South Bancroft Street, or South Church Street would be the shortest walk to The Colony Shop.

There is also a public parking lot just north of the Fairhoper’s Community Park on South Church Street, a small parking lot behind Julwin’s Restaurant on Bancroft Street and another parking area just north of the Fairhope Public Library on Bancroft Street.
