Description

Located at the Fly Creek Marina on Mobile Bay, Sunset Pointe is the place to go if you are looking for delicious seafood, unique menu items, craft cocktails, and the best sunsets in town. One of the few restaurants with water views in Fairhope, Sunset Pointe is a local favorite!

Along with Sunset Pointe, owner “Panini Pete” Blohme also has the popular downtown restaurant, Panini Pete’s Café and Market in the French Quarter.

On the Menu

Open for both lunch and dinner, Sunset Pointe’s menu is broken down into sections called “bights.” Appetizers are playfully called small “bights” and include several seafood plates such as crispy oysters, gulf fish wraps, and crab mac-n-cheese. For the non-seafood option, try the kamikaze chicken or seasonal garden bight.

For a lighter, but still filling fare, there are two soup style dishes as well as two salads to choose from. The Mussels in Bama “Yellow Hammer” Beer Broth and Eastern Shore Bouillabaisse are the two bowl options. A Simple Farm Salad or the Sunset Pointe Salad are also available.

The sandwich menu or “Bights” on Bread include three favorites including the Seared Tuna “BLT,” Rick Bragg’s “Ode to Grouper” Sandwich, and Sunset Pointe Burger. The Full “Bights” menu consists of more seafood options such as the Gulf Snapper Throats, Skirt Steak with Chimichurri Sauce, Lemon Butter Chicken, Pop’s Shrimp Pasta, and more.

The children’s menu consists of a cheeseburger, fried or grilled shrimp, grilled cheese, fish or chicken.

Along with the menu options, Sunset Pointe typically has a daily special entrée, craft drink, and garden “bight.”

Fairhoper’s Favorite – Two of our favorite dishes on the small “bights” menu are the Gulf Coast BBQ Shrimp and the Seared Tuna Nachos. For a more filling option, try the Eastern Shore Bouillabaisse filled with a bounty of seafood in a white wine broth or the Seared Tuna “BLT” with lemon aioli on ciabatta bread.

Menu options subject to change.
