A trendy gathering place in downtown Fairhope, Alabama, Provision features a café, coffee shop, wine bar, gourmet goods, home décor items, and specialty gifts. Once housed as an old antique shop, this space received a complete renovation transforming it into a modernly designed eatery and market with vintage appeal.
Upon arrival, you will be directed to the left for the deli and coffee shop or to the right for the grocery and wine bar, but either direction will bring you to the open and spacious center. Large round tables and a wall of objects of intrigue are thoughtfully curated with a collection of eclectic home décor and gift items.
Colorful Danish ceramics are contrasted with brass statues and candle holders. Coffee table books, hand painted gift cards, and herb and flower kits make splendid gift ideas. Or select one of the attractive bar and kitchenware offerings such as champagne buckets, ring coasters, hand carved acacia boards, and serving pieces to entertain in style.
The back of the store features a grocery section filled with gourmet goods, handmade pastas, chocolates, condiments, and everything you need to make an impressive cheese board. Find some local favorites such as craft beers from Fairhope Brewing Company, wildflower honey from Field Honey out of Robertsdale, Alabama and True Ewe Bourbon Caramel Spread from Dayspring Dairy, Alabama’s first sheep dairy. Don’t forget to check out the wall of wine for your next favorite find featuring many family-owned wineries from around the world.
Head to the coffee shop and deli for breakfast, brunch, or lunch served daily (closed on Sunday). Grab a cup of coffee, espresso, latte, mocha or cappuccino with a flaky croissant for a quick snack or sit and stay awhile with a delicious selection from the menu. Serving up waffles, toast, biscuits, and more in new and inspired ways, these tasty options are sure to start your day in the best way.
With several seating options, Provision is able to accommodate a variety of guests. Groups of friends looking to relax and unwind will appreciate the leather sofas and lounge chairs. A long table with low stools is the perfect spot for small group meetings. Individual tables are ideal for individuals or students needing some quiet time. And the large bar in the back is great for mingling while enjoying a craft beer, glass of wine, or specialty cocktail, like the Fairhope 75 or Provision Mule.
In the evening, guests can order from the small plate menu which features bar snacks like house-made candied pecans, West Indies salad, or feta dip. For something more substantial, try out one of the weekly cheese boards made to compliment your white wine or red wine selection.

Fairhoper’s Favorite – All great mornings should begin with a latte and we really enjoyed the cinnamon latte served hot with a warm chocolate croissant on the side.
