Not your average taco bar, Dragonfly Foodbar serves up a unique and delicious variety of tacos, salads, rice and noodle bowls with Asian and Mexican influences. Open for both lunch and dinner, this popular Fairhope restaurant has an inventive menu with something for everyone. Some like it hot! Many items carry a bit of heat so make sure to ask your server for their take on the level of spiciness for each dish. 

The Firecracker Fried Tofu taco as well as the Spicy Miso Broth bowl with glass noodles are good meat-free vegan or vegetarian options. There are also a few children’s options available upon request.  For kids, we recommend the chicken and rice bowl which features a generous portion of fried rice, edamame, carrots, and chicken. It is so good we’ve even been known to order a bowl ourselves.

Dragonfly Foodbar has one of the most extensive seasonal craft beer selections in Fairhope as well as wine and specialty drink offerings. Support our local beer crafters with a selection from the Fairhope Brewery Seasonals. These come in a variety of strengths, IPA’s, and flavors including hints of orange or coffee.

Table, booth, and bar seating can be found indoors with picnic style seating available on the outside patio. Fans are setup outdoors to help cool you down on especially warm days. With a new attachment added to the building, additional seating inside allows for the accommodation of large groups and small parties.  

Fairhoper’s Favorite – You can’t go wrong with one of the tacos, but we recommend ordering at least two per person. We especially like the Seared Tuna and Blackened Ribeye tacos. Tempura turnip fries are a must try side and if you are especially hungry, try the 3 Way Pork or Pork Skins with Queso for a delectable start to your meal. This “small” dish is quite filling on its own so it is perfect for sharing. 

Dragonfly Foodbar is located at 7 South Church Street in Fairhope, Alabama. The restaurant can be accessed through the courtyard located off of Church Street or the side entrance on De La Mare Avenue. The most convenient street parking is available on Church Street or De La Mare Avenue on a first come first serve basis, although it is only a short walk from Fairhope Avenue or Section Street. 

A public parking lot can be found just north of the Fairhoper’s Community Park on South Church Street and there is also a public parking garage located on North Church Street behind the Hampton Inn.
